Wayward Nerve Causing Left Side Of Body Tightness?

Yesterday I saw my physio and she believes that a nerve(s) running along the left side of my head, back and leg is underpinning my left head/forehead tightness, the feeling of tightness I usually feel running along the left side of my back and to an extent along my left leg.

She has told me to do an exercise where I get a towel and hold it around my left foot and lean my head down while pulling on the towel with my hands to stretch the nerve along my left leg (I can feel that underneath my leg it feels tight when I do this).

Is there anything else I could do to help resolve this hyperactive/inflammed nerve along my left side? Any medical or oral treatment I could seek from my GP other than just doing the physio stretches?

Thanks.

P.S. I am also doing stretches everyday or my back and trying to lose weight so my shoulders don't hunch forward at all becase I feel this could perhaps also help. Also, I've tried many muscle relaxants and they've never worked so I know it's not the muscle in my body causing the constant tightness (I am also currently wearing a splint, in case night time jaw clinching is contributing in any way, however I feel that addressing the nerve my physio believes is underpinning the problem will be most effective).

Welcome to the "tight body club". Not sure how I didn't see any of your posts from before. Despite what the PT says, do you think it is a pinched nerve that is causing all of this? I would be interested to know if this set of exercises helps with your problems.

Sorry, I didn't have time to read all of your posts. Have you had any MRI's done on your joints/and or panoramic X-ray? What were the results?
