Wax on wax off.........

I waxed my paint and used Mothers chrome polish on my chrome today and when I was done applying the products I found out I had to leave on a business trip and may be gone for a long time. So my question is, since I don't have time to remove the wax and polish, would it be safe to leave the products on my bike or will doing so cause damage to the paint and chrome? Thanks in advance.

If the wax and polish dries you may have a hard time getting it off.
I work one area at a time, apply wax, let it haze over and remove.
With aluminum polish once I've polished there isn't any left on the surface. Polish only works while your rubbing, leaving on the surface doesn't do anything.

It won't hurt to leave it on. Think about it, it's just a heavy coat of wax. If it was going to hurt anything you wouldn't be using it on paint. It might take a little more elbow grease to get it off however.

had a 68 mustang waxed in a garage (no sunlight) for about 16 years pulled it out wiped off wax looked brand new leave it on store all my cars that way know

Since I usually don't get my bike out in those coldest winter months I usually coat all of my chrome with Mothers polish and leave it until I get the bike back out. Doesn't hurt a thing and I think it helps guard the chrome from moisture and pitting.

Damn bro, did someone show up while you were applying the wax, tell you that you had to leave on that trip, and then took you away right then? You didn't have 10 minutes to take it off? Wow! I usually apply wax on my bike on one section at a time then take it off that section before I move to the next part. I do it this way because I never know when some one will show up and take me away to a business trip.
