P partymoth Guest Jan 10, 2009 #3 the rock eq is usually a smilly face meaning heavy bass on the low end and high on treble. a ported sub box is good for bass and a quality comp set 5 or 6" mid n tweeter set. two amps one mono for a sub and a 2 chan for the mid tweet combo.
