Water Sickness?

This is a serious question? Is it possible to get sick from drinking too much water? And I don't mean nausea. I mean is it possible to get seriously sick by drinking too much water. I mean, regular clean water too. About 6 months ago, I drank too much water while I was jogging and had this weird pain feeling. Is it possible that the water could have traveled to the wrong place in my body? How would any doctor be able to diagnose this anyway? Thank You for any answer.

how much is 'too much' water??
they say it makes you kidneys work faster.. donno what that means but then again 3 liters a day is always perfect! you drank MORE THAN THAT?! :O

Too much water can be serious...but by too much, I'm talking gallons. Drinking water on an empty stomach and then getting hot (jogging, etc) can cause nausea as well. And no, it can't travel to the "wrong place" unless all that you ingest does that.

if you are drinking water while jogging it can cause pain. If you drink too much, or too fast, even if it is too cold, you will get sick. That's not the same thing as drinking too much water as in a few gallons a day, but just that you drank too much (many gulps) too quickly while exercising.

When exercising it's best to drink a little bit, very frequently. The saying is "if you are thirsty then you waited too long" or something like that..lol.
