I have to remove a water Pump and the belt is around a tensioner and I am wondering if I can remove the pully/wheel. I know you can't on some models but can this one be moved.I need to know how I can tell and if i can. I will state, the bolt on the waterpump can NOT be removed with the pully wheel on. IT hits the wheel, and the lower bolt on the waterpump is hard to reach if IT can't be taken off. Let me now what you think.....NEED TO KNOW NOW...hHHHHeEEEEEllllLLLLpPP
96 ford taurus gl .. the bolt in the waterpump is long and when pulled out it hits the (tension pulley wheel). I need to know if this auto has the type of wheel that can be removed. I looseded the bolt and it moves freely, Just scared that if it is under pressure, if i remove the bolt will it release the spring.
