Water conditioner while fish in the bowl?

I just transferred my betta from a old, little bowl, to a brand new and much bigger bowl. I used tap water, however I forgot to condition the water before I put my fish in!! (oops!!) I live in a rural area and we have our own well, so our water is fairly hard (lots of iron). The conditioner I have is called "BettaSafe" by TetraAqua.

Can I still put the conditioner in the water while the fish is in there? If not, what are your suggestions?
 
I live on a well also. If your water is similar to mine than your fish will be unaffected by the unconditioned water. Just add the water conditioner- it will not harm the fish.
