Watching TV

Try PBS, the History Channel, Discovery Channel and other documentaries. They're far better than the sitcoms, "reality" shows and the news editorials. If you can't get any of these, stick your nose in a good book and save the energy consumed by the vidiot box.

That and football/hockey is pretty much all I watch, along with the odd movie.

That said, I probably watch over 10 hrs a week when I think about it, a show on one of those channels and some news before bed, throw in the Oilers hockey games and at least one NFL game on Sunday, and 10hrs comes up pretty quick.

in terms of me, I don't watch much TV. On the weekenRAB I will usually watch a football game on Sunday, and during baseball season I'll probably watch a baseball game. But during the week I watch very little TV. At most maybe a half-hour show. I will also watch a movie sometimes on the weekenRAB, but not every week. Sometimes I may watch up to 9-10 hours a week, but usually I'd say it's closer to 3-4.
