Watching Tenchi Again...anyone know a good timeline for it?

So yeah, this has probably been discussed before but I couldn't find a substantial thread to get my info from/bump.

I'm finally going back and rewatching one of my favorite series Tenchi Muyo, which I haven't really watched since back when it was on Toonami.

I was wondering if you guys here could make my life a bit easier and remind me of the best order to watch the various series and specials in. I know you watch like 2 OAVs first, with the Mihoshi special stuck someplace, and then I would guess the new OAV, Universe and then Tokyo, but I just don't remeraber where the movies "sort of fit in" anymore not to mention the various spinoff series with like GXP and all that Sasami stuff, and possibly anything else I'm forgetting. Somebody feel like helping me out?

And apparently it also might now tie in with some other anime like Saint's Tale? I sort of already knew about it's random relationship with Dual! tho (another of my favorite series)

I believe it goes...

OVA 1
Mihoshi Special
OVA 2
OVA 3
Movie 2
GXP

Universe
Movie 1
Movie 3

Tokyo
Sasami

Never heard of Saint's Tale and Dual.

the OVA Continuity is..

OVA 1
OVA 2
OVA 3
Tenchi Muyo GXP
Sekishi (ST. Knigts tale)
(The mihoshi special is optional)

Universe continuity
Universe
Movie 1
Movie 3

Stand alone
Tenchi In Tokyo
Movie 2
Pretty Sammy
Sasami: Magical girls Club

Daul has some refrences to tenchi...but isn't part of the tenchiverse...however, like Photon it was made by the same guy that made the tenchi OVA's

and st. Tail isn't related to tenchi at all...its an old magical girls show.....your thinkiong of Sekishi also known as ST. KNIGHTS TAIL!

Yeah, Dual is only tangentially related to the Tenchi OVA "multi-verse" via the lighthawk wings, and the mecha in that series may relate to what is found at the end of GXP.

I'm waiting to watch Sekishi until it's finished, but as it is set on a "parallel" world I wonder if their may be some sly noRAB to Dual in it as well.

Yeah I meant Saint Knight's Tale. I hadn't even heard of it until I saw it mentioned on the Tenchi wiki.

I might wait to watch GXP until after Universe and Tokyo just because I probably care a lot less about the main cast of that if nothing else.
