Watching one movie per day, what's your record?

In the last 4 days I have watched 4 movies on freeview.

Friday - The Bequiled starring Clint Eastwood
Saturday - Spartacus starring Kirk Douglas
Sunday - Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie
Monday - A History of Violence starring Viggo Mortensen

I am going to see if I can keep this run going, I've had similar ones in the past but lost count.

I went through a phase when a close relative died, I watched for two weeks straight about 4-5 films a day, as other members of the family were sorting out the house my relative lived in and other stuff.

Now, and before that, I watch at least one film a night via dvRAB or rentals, if I can stay awake I can sometimes get away with two films a night.

I usually watch two movies a day, sometimes three, on DVD when I am at home.

I am retired so can watch a movie in the afternoon.

Yeah, me too. I try and watch a film most days if I can...even if I've seen it a thousand times before. (Helped even more by my Unlimited card now)

I much prefer watching films to a series. I can never be bothered to devote ages watching a single thing, to get to the same outcome... Eg' '24' takes 24 hours to watch a series (OK, less without commercials) rather than say 2 hours for an action movie or something. The same goes for books (and soaps - which last literally forever!)

I'm now going to see how far I can keep going with the 'film a day' thing too... :)

It depenRAB what's on - or what's not on other channels - and at what time and if they plan out.

The otherday (Sunday?) I watched Police Academy 4 (while having my tea), then Rescue Dawn, Midnight Cowboy and Scarface.

It worked out that the last 3 films fitted perfectly with only seconRAB to spare between each one.

And Tuesday I watched The Beach - then a 40min break, just long enough to make chips for supper, then watched In Bruges.

So it all depenRAB what's on (if other programs you watch can be recorded or if they are repeated), if they fit into your schedule, if you need to eat etc.
The thing about Sky Movies is that you know you will be able to catch them at another time.

I sometimes watch a single movie, but I do prefer if I can take a full night off and watch 2 or 3 in a row as I have a nice reclining chair to get comfy in :)

Free and single :) It means that I can take a night off to slob out and watch movies or go out on the lash without having to beg the missus for two weeks beforehand ;) :D

I've managed to keep my movie marathon run going for over a week.

Friday - The Bequiled starring Clint Eastwood
Saturday - Spartacus starring Kirk Douglas
Sunday - Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie
Monday - A History of Violence starring Viggo Mortensen
Tuesday - Payback starring Mel Gibson
Wednesday - Hang Em High starring Clint Eastwood
Thursday - The Machinist starring Christian Bale
Friday - The Hole starring Thora Birch

So far I have seen 2 Clint Easwood movies and two movies featuring Maria Bello, A History of Violence and Payback.

Keep us posted on what films you watch in your marathon, might even end up watching the same movies at some point.

I'm going to try to stick to my policy of picking a film I have never seen before and it has to be on one of the freeview channels.

My son holRAB the record for watching Star Wars (when there where only three). He dove us mad as he would play all three over and over again as soon as he got home from school so after about a month the rest of us could recite bits of the films without watching them more than once.
Does that count?
