What! In the middle of a wasp population explosion you take yourself and your children off to wasp heaven and then try to blame someone else that there are loaRAB of wasps about? It is not just legoland, wasps have been a nightmare in parts of the SE this year. So, legoland had 3 nests and I am sure there are plenty more undiscovered., I have had 2, my neighbours have had 1 each and there were a couple at my workplace - they have been everywhere in large numbers. It is not legoland

It has improved mainly by getting rid of the so called audience. But is still too full of gimmicks and some pointless investigations such as Tesco carrier bags

Good to see the "locksmith" locked up.Pity ot took so long.

I would agree that 99% of Santander customers are happy but 1% is a very big number

Well Watchdog is back and have the BBC taken any notice of us?? No yhey have not.
Same format inclding Rogue Traders and god knows how many presenters:eek:
Yet again Anne interupted the lady from Legoland during the bit on wasps in LegoLand.
The Clamping Company certainly were blackmailing motorists and thank goodness they and firms like them will hopefully be banned next year. (One firm tried to clamp my coach when I was turning arround in a private car park after dropping employees off. They did not have a suitable clamp!!)
Good piece on BMI baby luggage measuring frames though.

I think you're missing the point of the story. Tesco say their bags are environmentally friendly, but they've made them so thin that people actually have to 'double bag', so end up using twice as much plastic than they used to. Even the FrienRAB of the Earth guy they interviewed said it was ridiculous.

Pretty much sums that company up in my opinion....

I thought the show is FAR better than at any time since the re-vamp, and is actually watchable now. I do think that Rogue Traders was better as a stand alone show though. Anne Robinson still irritates me and the interviews are a farce, but that has been a feature of the show for a long time now.

That clamping was downright theft... the girl had not even switched off her car engine and the twerp blocked her in with his car!

Seemingly Scotland has more sense and barred these clampers quite a few years ago so let's hope the rest of the UK follow them!

Whatever the price is on the shelf they have to honor, that's how it worked in Tesco's when I was there, the supervisors/managers would try to push the higher price but backed down when they could see the customer knew his/her stuff.

I don't like the way Rogue Traders is 'integrated' into the show. It just doesn't work IMO. They should be two seperate half hour programmes, particularly because Watchdog is supposed to be a serious programme but Rogue Traders isn't!

Actually by British law Tescos don't have to and any customer who claimed they had wouldn't know their stuff at all.

The price on the shelf (or on a sticker on the item) is an "Invitation to Treat"...which is a fancy way of saying, "this item is for sale, we were thinking it was worth

The BMI thing was good. The supermarkets report was quite hit and miss, I thought.

Legoland: A bit petty. Expecting them to put a big warning on their website about wasps was ludicrous. What company is ever going to do that?

Switched over halfway through for Corrie!

I agree but the rogue roofers tale was spun out last night. That would not make 30 mins of TV.

Watchdog is stuffed with too many celebrity presenters.

My OH ran her car at a clamper who refused to move, filthy blackmailing scum so they are. Really enjoyed seeing that freak from LBJ Clamping being humiliated.

:D

Tuned on the off chance as there wasn't anything else on the four channel tv I was watching at the time! Plus I have an issue with Argos and was intrigued to hear their report. I'm glad they got rid of the majority of silliness that was on the show, apart from....
...this. It's not even funny - and at the end of his report, what reprimand does the wrongdoers receive? Their picture on his wall, whooooo.

I agree with you. You're going to an OUTDOOR venue, where other people routinely buy sweet sugary fooRAB, that are then routinely discarded on the floor by ignorant parents and children, and then you expect the place to be wasp free?

I wonder what planet these people are living on! You're in the great outdoors, you share it with the rest of the animal and insect population, and that includes wasps, bees, spiders, etc.

and why was Martin Lewis on last night? Why does he keep getting work on TV? He always looks like he's high on something, waving his hanRAB about frantically, talking loud and very quick. I'll have what he's having please!

I think it's improved since the last series. Much better!! Will Chirs Hollins be a permanent presenter or was last night just a one-off? I hope he is permanent.

What got me was the way the coward phoned the police when he had his car clamped by the watchdog crew, and how he even claimed he was being beaten up.

There's no way he should be running a company.
