Watch out, Alvin fans - here come the Chipettes

Oh lordy lordy lordy:

Still, there's some cool news on that site as well. The Lone Ranger, a sequel to Monsters, Inc. (love that film) and news about a Pirates 4 (yeah, I know P3 was awful, but I still want another (good) installment...I have a thing for Captain Jack Sparrow :anime:) And the Smurfs! In 2D or 3D? (Please not 3D. They'll look like little walking talking blue balloon animals. Eckk!)

Well, Jeanette had a defined personality, and she wasn't just a clone of Simon; Jeanette was an awkward, clumsy 'nerd girl' as opposed to Simon, who was very smart and scholarly. The only Chippette who didn't have a clearly defined role was Eleanor; IIRC, she was just kind of there, sandwiched between the shy klutz Jeanette and the walking ego Brittany.

THE ABYSS...IT'S STARING BACK AT ME!

I'm kidding of course as I found the first movie charming but man the Chipettes are creeping me out...Actually, it's just Eleanor.

Ok I loved the Chipettes in the animated series but this is just scarry. The way its all done is just wrong. Oh well it'll prob get thousands of dollars like the first one did.

Looking at that brings me physical pain.

But what's the deal with their clothes? Why... so... 80s? Then again... I guess it might be worse if they wore modern clothing for teenage girls.

Eleanor's the maternal, hypercapable one. In contrast to Theodore, she's a lot more self confident about herself with less self image issues.

Also, Wiki lists there VA's for the movie as Anna Faris (Brittany), Christina Applegate (Jeanette), and Amy Poeler (Eleanor). It also doesnt list a source for that info, though, so take that with a grain of salt.

I LIKED the Chipettes...but those are just kinda creepy.
When rule 34 is invoked, and you know it will be, I know I'm gonna be skeeved out more then normal.

Well actually, a lot of 80's fashions have come back since last year, so yeah.
:)

I'm excited to see what happens in this next movie. I like the character
designs except for Eleanor's. It looks as if she's about to either hypnotize you or murder you.

And also that sucks. :( I can't see the Smurfs being CGI.

Numbering these rules is silly. As if there are a total of 63+ rules out there. How many are there really? 6? 8? 10?

Duh... I don't get it.

Lol, I get that one or all of them are supposed to be men but I have no idea what show that is.
