I love fog so much. My stepmother owned property at The Sea Ranch. When I was five, we went there with my father and stayed in a motel, and I was totally fascinated by the fog. Sea Ranch is near Gualala, well north of San Francisco. I took off by myself one night and went to a bar there and played pool alone in a coin-operated table. That was so neat. And I found a salamander at the beach one day and kept it as a pet while visiting with my dad that summer in Cupertino, CA.
