Washington D.C. sports event?

Will be on holiday in D.C. on the 28,29 and 30th July.
Does anyone know if there are any baseball, US football, basketball or ice hockey games on during this time?
I believe there is a soccer game on on the Tue 28th, can you buy tickets at the ground before kick off if no other sports are on?
 
There is a football (soccer) match on the 24th of July at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland that is driving distance (30 miles) from Washington D.C. It is Chelsea of England playing AC Milan of Italy. I don't know if tickets are sold out yet.
