In truth, I was pleasantly surprised.
Some Liberals have become so radical (not all), many have become as anti-American in their rhetoric, if not more anti-American than our enemies.
So for Obama to go against the ideology of hatred some Liberals (not all) have for America is a positive step for him.
My guess is, as President Obama is learning the world is a dark and ugly place where lofty idealism doesn't solve problems. Maybe he is slowly understanding the tough job previous Presidents have had to face and that sometimes tough choices have to be made, not because we want to, but because have to.
I may disagree with many of his policies, but I'm willing to give him credit where credit is due. Standing up for America, gets him some credit from me.
