was Windows Service Pack 3 not meant for Windows XP Media Edition?

i've read that people have problems after they downloaded service pack 3 with the media edition

right now i have service pack 2, media center edition 2002. should i download SP3?

on a side note, i have SP2 but i have the old version of windows movie maker. i dont know what i should do about that either
 
first, i believe sp3 works no matter which version of xp you have including home and media center, as i have tried them all. the only time i had a problem w/ sp3 is on a cracked/hacked/pirated version of xp.
second, when you install it, you have a restore ppoint set and a remove option in control panel.
third, there is a movie maker update out just the other day which should solve any issue you may emcounter.
