Was there a queen in English history who sucked a wound to draw poison from it?

The story is of Eleanor of Castile, the wife of Prince Edward of England, later King Edward I. They were on crusade and he was stabbed with a poisoned knife by one of the order of assassins. Sucking the wound didn't (and doesn't) help, and Edward's life was in fact saved by a skilled surgeon.

I know my history but I have not heard of a Queen who sucked poison out of a wound, are you sure it was an English Queen, perhaps it is a Queen from another country! I did have a quick look on the internet to see what it brought up and I ended up with a drag queen site, not what we were looking for!
