JFK's generals didn't ask him to bomb Cuba, they demanded he bomb Cuba.

Can you imagine the pressure? Can you imagine the stress?

A President has to be a critical thinker. He has to be able to think 5 or 6 moves ahead.

Put John McCain in that chair during that crisis.

Put Borack Obama in that chair during that crisis.

Do you want a critical thinker or quick draw McCain.

The life you save may be your own.

JFK decided to use deplomacy in the end. I wonder if he asked for pre-conditions?

The Cuban missile crisis would have never happened if the Kennedy administration would have kept its word to the Cuban resistance. You can blame over 40 years of communist oppression on Cuba's people directly on JFK. The Kennedy's history has been glorified and embellished because of the tragic events that occurred to their family. Obama is clearly unfit to lead this country. Obama couldn't even get a security clearance if it was required by the President.
Democrat Senator John F. Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil rights Act.
Democrat President John F. Kennedy opposed the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King.
Democrat President John F. Kennedy, had Dr. King wiretapped and investigated by the FBI.
 
Neither Obama nor McCain can measure up to JFK. They are pretenders who have unfortunatly gotten too high up in rank. Alas, the American people have to choose between two clowns...which one is the least likely to cause trouble???
 
You may wonder if he wanted preconditions. I wonder if he would have been reelected! It was a strong possibility that Americans were tried of the Kennedy thing and were ready to vote in, of all people, Barry Goldwater! Never think for a minute that Kennedy or Obama were critical thinkers. The Bay of Pigs proved JFK wasn't. How many American lives will be lost before it is proved that Obama isn't?
 
JFK also said "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
 
JFK was druged up by "Doctor Feel Good" while all that was going on.

Keep in mind that it never would have happened if he hadn't run on a campaign that revolved around an imaginary missile gap, even though he was shown intelligence (U2 photographs) that showed otherwise.

We can thank JFK for the cold war and it's costs.
