Was the 360 right for me?

I was wondering if the 360 was the right choice of console for me?I have been really really bored with my 360 and I hate the whole achievement system.To me it takes away from the gaming fun.So I was wondering if I should sell my 360 for a ps3?I have been really thinking about it.
