Earlier this week i went to get a pap smear and a STD checkup. Everything came back negative(thank god), but i was actually positive for herpes antibodies. Since i found out, i have been doing research and looking up on it. I have never had a outbreak,not in my genital area anyways, but i have had a cold sore before(like twice in high school) but other than that nothing. Is there were the antibodies come from? Could I have had this since childhood?Is it possible to be positive for the antibodies, but never have an outbreak? Can i still have sex in the future?its so many questions please someone help!
