Was secession legal before the Civil War?

For a History assignment, I need to look up the legality of secession before the Civil War. I need to backup my evidence with articles in the U.S. constitution that either agree or go against the legality of a state to separate from the Union. So far I have only come up with 1 relevant article, and I need 2 more.
