Last night I went out with a guy just to dinner and then we went for a drive afterwards. I'm 17 and that was only my second date, not just with him, but ever so I have nothing to compare it to. Except the first date, which was romantic because we were flirting and walking close to each other and all that. This time our table at the restaurant was really long and we were far apart, and it was raining, so we couldn't walk outside, then he was driving so he was looking at the road most of the time. Neither of us made any sort of move (me because I'm not that brave, him because last time he wanted to kiss me and i wasn't ready, so he's being super cautious) so it just didn't feel like a date, just like friends. But i know how I feel about him because of our first time going out. Is it normal to have a date like this?
