About 3 months ago, I posed the question, "Should a former addict be working in a Wal-Mart pharmacy. Well, I just finished reading a news article online stating that she was caught and arrested for stealing Oxycodone pills from customers (filled) prescription bottles. The court disposed of it earlier this month and she received a 2 year, suspended sentence. I met her while in a treatment facility and over the past 3 years, we had become very close. My concern and ultimate question to this site was that I didn't think that she was forthcoming regarding her past problems with prescription meds during the hiring process and did I have a responsibility in the matter. The answers to my question were quite mixed, to say the least. Some were even extremely arrogant. My question now is, "Did I really have a responsibility to try and get her out of the situation, or was it supposed to play out on it's own?
