was in the marines, do i still need to go to army boot camp? been out for 3

yrs now, recruiter said i had to g? I just spoke to an army recruiter today about the reserves he said I would have to go through basic training and get busted down some ranks. I was in the Marine Corps and have been out for only 3 yrs. Does this sound right or is the recruiter just BSing me and not wanting to do extra paper work.
