Was I wrong for fighting with my aunt?

Me and my relatives were helping my cousin move out of her college dorm after her graduation. When I was moving stuff, my aunt told me to grab a puzzle on the table. I unplugged something under it because I thought it was connected to the puzzle, and my aunt kept telling to get the puzzle. I knocked a piece of the puzzle when I reached for it and she kept repeating herself and yelling at me. I told her I heard and told her to shut the hell up. We started arguing before my mom told me to leave the room and I told my aunt to go to hell. She then called a "sorry ass" which ticked off my mother. She wasn't even helping and was sitting on her ass while we were moving stuff even though she's an elder but she's not even old. Later on, my relatives told me that I was wrong for disrespecting an elder and I need to apologize. My cousin told me I should never speak to family that way while my other cousin told me if she's not going to apologize then I shouldn't. We didn't ever speak to each other the other day. Was I wrong?
