Was I in the wrong?

I know it's been a while, but I need ya'll's opinion on something.

Is being sarcastic about dating girls who have kids bad? I just did a myspace survey, and one of the questions was something like "would you ever date someone who already had kids?" and I responded (sarcastically mind you) "Only if she was hot".

Almost immediatly, I got hate mail from this one person calling me sexist and all sorts of mean things. But I wonder, was I really in the wrong? Should I have been more tactful?

Anyone who takes those things seriously needs a hobby. Those things are just for fun, and I've filled out every answer sarcastically and gotten rave reviews. Hate mail from idiots who can't see the distinction between genuine and facetious should go outside and interface with the real world for awhile.

Personally, I most likely wouldn't date a chick with kids. Insta-fams aren't my thang.

I wouldn't worry about it. Myspace surveys aren't really meant to be taken seriously.
