"It is well enough that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford.

My question to you is, isn't it about time you became an expert in the workings of the banking industry, especially given the current climate in the economic world?

You got THAT right. Not just the banking system, but everything that involves our lives and our government.
I've been "developing" an interest in a LOT of things I never really thought much about before. Our government is run amok. They seem to acquired the attitude that WE serve it, not the other way around. We need to inform ourselves and take an active interest in everything going on around us. Democracy is NOT a spectator sport, we MUST get involved if we expect to remain free - socially free, economically free, spiritually free. We could use a lot less partisans and a lot more AMERICANS here too.
United we stand, divided we fall.

Trying?

How could he have been any more abrupt?

He also did everything in his power to strengthen the family farmer by designing all his early cars to run better on farm-distilled alcohol than Rockefeller's black tar.

But, Rockefeller donated $4M to the Woman's Temperance Movement - little old ladies nobody had ever heard of - and in no time, an all-male, hard-drinkin' Congress, Senate and State govt's ratified an amendment to destroy all farm machinery related to the production of ethanol ... aka: stills.

Gotta love government.

...

You are right. But there is a definite difference between the people of Henry's time and now. Then, people were more self sufficient and knew they had to work and be productive to earn what they needed and wanted. Now, it's a population who believe they are entitled to most things and falsely allow the government to be provider, and Mom and Dad. This requires a bigger - more costly government. And one that controls banks and business. It's sad.

chukki dear, you dont understand what he meant by the banking system.

Sure accrued interest is one thing. BUt these people get to create money out of thin air, which robs the rest of us that have to toil for money.

And this is why I have been studying the monetary system as much as I have, because the world needs more people that knows what is going on, so that these scum dont win the intellectual fight.
