Was Asher Roth just another "flash" in the frying pan? see below?

MTV hyped him up and then he "disappeared. He wasn't that good to start with...just another white rapper trying to make it without any decent lyrical skills or even decent "flow". He tried to rap about college and he really didn't even seem to know much about that. Do you expect to hear much from him in the future?
 
I hate him, but he has a long future in front of him. He sold about 70,000 copies of his album the first week out, which be real is a good number for someone who's buzz is built entirely of off the internet. He also did a concert with The Roots, and is on tour with Blink182 building up a fan-base.
