i dont know about worst ever hes a good player and i dont know every winner so cant judge the worst i dont think its him tho. But youre right he wasnt the best player in the league last season and shouldnt have won. It was just another example of why the system needs a revamp and someone else judging it other than the umpires, because its at a point where almost every bloody year that some outsider pops up and wins it with no business doing so. Ablett and harvey were the two best players last season and neither finished top two. Even simon black ended ahead of them and i think its safe to say of all players in the league last year he wasnt the second best.
If G Ablett doesn't win this year, the medal has lost it's lustre, and the umpires look like being a laughing stock. Cooney's medal? Hmmm, that one was a bit rich, but he is a fine player with a lot of great footy ahead.
