i can't stand when obama says in his speeches "take from those that can afford to give a little more"

what a fucking dick thing to say to americans. the fucking president, a politician that is so far out of touch with middle class america, is going to tell people what they can afford to give?
 
ok first of all, the only proven thing there is his success. "smartest" is clearly your opinion

and 2ndly, a credit bureau downgraded the US. what they did can and probably will have impact on this economy. him quoting buffett as saying we should actually be AAAA shows pure fucking ignorance to the situation. buffett is just a businessman and anything he says won't impact this country or the world like the US being downgraded

Yes, let's penalize people who inherited wealth. I'd imagine whatever they did to create that wealth probably didn't benefit the country very much.
 
you can't just choose to "opt out" of society. if you wanted to do that, there are places that support that sort of lifestyle, otherwise you have to learn to get along with others and play nicely in communal areas governed by common law.

those individuals still pay payroll taxes, like Social Security and Medicare, sales taxes, and often property taxes
