Warren Buffett: Stop Coddling the Super-Rich!

obama proposed a 4 trillion dollar cut (including cuts into Democrat's sacred entitlement programs like medicare and medicaid).

Unlike the current POS ~2 trillion cut that's backloaded to the end of obama's 2nd term.

Holy fuck this guy. Yeah, good thing instead of preaching Anarchy, America actually created a beacon of freedom across the world with limited Federal government.

is it so hard to believe someone could come up with that analogy? jesus christ. the fact you don't see it's the same concept whether you are talking about revenue or a credit limit is just astounding

switch cc with being given cash and WHAM

obama proposed a 85% spending cut to 15% revenue increase, and the republicans laughed all the way to the bank.

To put things into perspective, Germany (the most sound economy in the western hemisphere ) implemented a 60% spending cut to 40% revenue increases plan to tackle their debt problems.

Welcome to one of the largest ongoing debates in the Ways and Means committee since the dawn of the income tax.

In theory, lower rates spurns capital mobility, both in real estate and portfolios, but in reality, our current rates have allowed for a lot of profit-taking by shrewd individuals with low-basis, high-value stock (read: the very wealthy) but have had little effect on the average portfolio who buys and sells by perceived performance.

you guys also realize buffett was crying over the proposed corporate jet tax too right? he thought that was preposterous. yet he turns around and suggests this? LOL

Oh? Then why have I heard people say "I bet all these people preaching against universal health care get medicare checks? Lawl?"

Somehow one person should act on principal while the other shouldn't?

Disagree. The gov has more than enough tax money. It's time they stop spending so much of and it's time they start using the money more effectively.

i mean its not like the average congressman is a millionaire. or several of the current presidential candidates are worth millions ($200-300 million in the case of romney.)
