Simply being the warmest on record is not evidence of a trend or warm temperatures. It means that the one year is the warmest. Hypothetically you could have a cooling trend with a one year anomaly that is the warmest on record.

Now...I know that the trend is warming. I think you know that. I'm saying that you've made the claim without the proof. What you've shown isn't proof....so saying "what? you don't believe the globe is warming" after displaying what you did makes no sense. Because you have not shown the globe is warming. You have shown a one year temperature record.
