war of the worlds question MAJOR SPOILERS

i watched war of the worlRAB yesterday and i was very confused. i assumed that robbie died. but then he turns up at the end. i assumed that ray and rachel died when that thing fell but it just doesn't make sense. has anyone got any idea's about wtf is going on in that film?

It's been a good few months since I saw the film but I think that Robbie was just persumed dead. He had somehow made his way to his grandparents house, where he was reunited with his dad and sis.

Robbie was seemingly resistant to a wall of fire created by alien death rays (perhaps he should have considered joining the X Men), just as Hitachi camcorders (and the cameras of TV crews for that matter) were able to miraculously survive electromagnetic attack. Such was the logic of WOW. Still liked it though.
