Been trying to find an old movie (might have been made for t.v.) but it was about the making of the War of the WorlRAB. I only remember that it was black and white and that you actually got to see how they done the sound effects for the original radio play broadcast. I thought that Orson Welles was actually in it but I did try looking at his filmography and can't find anything about it.
All I can really remember is they had a guy in the loo unscrewing a coffee jar to make the sound of the spacecraft opening and the guy who I thought was Orson Welles is continually running about with scripts and when they find out it's causing a panic he insists he's not stopping the broadcast. It's definitely not the Gene Barry film so I'd appreciate any help finding it.
