far as i know his mac address doesn't really matter anyway. you can clone them or create your own, and the only place your MAC shows up is in the switch you are connected to. unless someone can clone the mac and activate an aircard on his account, which may be possible but i doubt it. i usually set my mac to aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa anyway or something when i'm testing routers and nic's.
 
oops missed that part of the post. that's what i was suggesting from the beginning.


and yeah the mac address doesn't matter... just like it doesn't matter what esn you give cricket... from a technical standpoint.... you still don't want to give that information out
(trying not to delve too much into the taboo re: esn's)
