wanting to know if i can join the army with an expunged record?

Hey i was wondering i got charged with entering auto (basically opening cars and taking stuff). and im doing this program from the DA community service and 6 months of sorta probation... and after that six month wondering if i can join. im 18 yrs old and i did learn my lesson.

oh yeah im going to tell my recruiters and yes the government can find any expunged records.. and thats why you gotta tell your story.. because they will find out, i just need to know if my chances are good to go. Thanks
 
I'm a firm believer in giving people a second chance. Don't try and hide anything from the military when you enlist. Just be open and they'll treat you fine.
 
Make sure that it is really EXPUNGED and do not tell the military about the event since it won't be on your record.
