...reason not to hire? I received an Entry Level 1 Separation back in 2002. I was told my type of discharge was if i wasn't there, and I should'nt report it on resumes,applications, etc. I never have. But now that I have matured,went to college, and have received my Assoc. Degree in Criminal Justice I desire to become a peace officer. I have applied to two departments but no luck. Could this be a reason?? Please help....
 
well, if you've shown you can't follow orders i doubt any dept. will pick you up. but, you may try a small dept. some where and if you're lucky you can stay there as a start to prove yourself. good luck.
