Im wanting the Seagate 120gb, but I might have to buy the Toshiba 120gb because i want it yesterday

what kind of warranty do seagate oem drives hold?

i bought an oem seagate pata from outpost.com, it died after 2 months, i went to seagate.com to fill out the warranty info, but it told me that it was oem and i had to go through the seller to use my warranty.

2 weeks of emails and calls later, i finally got to send it in and get my credit put back on my credit card.

If you dont mind having a drive externally attached, you can get a sata cable extender, an external enclosure, and a regular sized sata drive up to 750gb.

Yeah, and I prefer to just stick with what Sony chose to use, also that being said, both the 20gb and 60gb ard drives are Seagate

maybe once someone cracks the ps3 os to play games off the hard drive, much like xbox

or if your a big 733t nerd and love linux, you can run loads of emulations and crap on that

You might be able to play movies off an external hard drive via usb. I think the main reason for upgrading the hd is to save game backups and play them off the hd, when that is possible.
