im 17 but want a big bike, something like a gsx-r or a kawasaki ninja.. understand i need a provisional, need to do CBT and pass theory test.. but am finding it hard to get a price on the practical motocycle test on a 125cc. Also i know DAS training includes all stages but seems quite pricey.. is it possible to do the practical test individually and would it be cheaper to do so?

Also could someone tell me roughly how much im lookin at for insurance on one of these bikes when restricted to 33bhp, say if the bike was a 600cc?

Insurance will be around £1200 a year but will vary up and down depending on your circumstances.

Without doing the training through a proper riding school there is no way you will pass a test - just no other practical way to do it. The off road part of the practical is the hardest part now it seems and you need to be able to practice that.
