Hell yeah. Just be more careful next time. Always warm-up before you train and before you fight. Also, do not throw punches from angles that you are not used to aim. Be prepared for wrist pain, it always happens when you are just starting to box, your wrist will get used to punching the heavy bag and become stronger, but if you haven't train for a month or so, your wrist will be as fragile as before. I would like to recommend to train for 6 days a week. Training more will make you better and stronger. Before my friend always beats me in boxing, but I trained hard everyday and watched more boxing, I learned a lot and I became confident about my skills. We then had a rematch, I won by knockout in the second round, in the first round, I was just outboxing him, in the second round, he got into an exchange with me and I outslugged him. So, have faith with your training and watch more boxing, and spar with a lot of guys. You may even become a golden glove awardee. Sparring with a lot of guys accumulates experience from a lot of styles, whether he is a slugger, out-boxer, in-fighter or boxer-puncher. Study their styles well, so you maybe accustomed and prepared for any opponent.
