I am 17 and am a Junior in High School. I've met another guy and we get along perfectly, the only problem is that he is 19 and in college. I only live with my mom, and she's very controlling to the point of irrationality. When she found out that I was gay, she upped her limitations and put even more restrictions on my life due to her prejudices on gay people. Me and this guy met online, not something that would go over well at ALL with my mom. Ive met him and everything checks out, he's a great guy. Also, he lives an hour away, so it will be hard to lie to my mother directly saying we met at _____. How do i tell an over-controlling mother about me and him? Should I lie and say a friend introduced us or whatever?
