Want to buy a Ducati Montser @600-750cc?

Hi there, I`m looking at buying a Ducati Monster around the 600cc mark (as I`m no Casey Stoner). What sort of mileage and age is a good time to buy, if not buying new. also what sort of dollars (aussie) would one expect to pay for the privilege? Cheers Cam
