You are walking down a road and you encounter a fork in the road and you do not know the correct way to go. There are two men standing at the junction and both know the correct road. One man always lies, and the other man always tells the truth, but you do not know who is the liar and who is the one who tells the truth. You can only ask each man one question, but it must be the same question for both. What is the question that would allow you to get the information necessary to choose the correct path?
No, it is not What is my name. That is incorrect

I will reveal the CORRECT answer when the day ends. At 11:59

ask
" if i ask the other man which way i should go what wouls he say?"
the truthful man would show u the wrong way becuase the lying man would say that. and the lying man would chose the wrong way too becuase hes lying to u.

Ask:

"Is there a correct path?" to any one of them.

If the one you asked says "no", he is the liar. The other one tells the truth, so ask him "Which is the correct path?". Follow his instruction word for word.

If the one you ask says "yes". The other one always lies, so ask him "Which is the correct path?", take the opposite path.

Voila (i'm good at riddles).

"Which is the path the other would tell me is wrong?" The Truth teller would point to the correct path to take and the liar would also point to the correct path because he is lying.
