want my garden mowed down so i can host a bday gathering.?

my garden is a mess with all da grass overgrown and i just want it 2 be mowed down and made 2 look tidy. Im havin a bday gathering and want to have it out there as well in the house. How much would it cost me roughly? any contacts wud be grateful. Live in wolverhampton as a student so any around the city or west midlands wud be just as helpful as getting some general information. thanks
 
Get a gardener in - miine had six feet thistles a week ago, but for 450 I now have a lawn right up to the height of the pato, weed surpressamt down and a few spectacutlr plants in pots on the ground. Honestly, it was s field!!
