Wanna Be metal heads?

it seems ive noticed so many wanna be metal heaRAB, most of coming from guitar hero.
any1 else notice this?
it acually makes me mad, like ill talk to sum1 who says they listen to metal, and ill ask them "do u listen to larab of god" and you get the usuall "oh my god, Laid to rest is a sick song!" being the only song they know.
before when guitar hero came out, id be psyced that a metal song was on it, now its kinda depressing. i wish that if people discovered metal from guitar hero, they would try to expand their metal song lists. but instead they dedicate themselves to knowing just the single. or hit song.
 
this got me curious i never played any GH or RB games so i wanted to peak on there set list and some who i thought were pretty cool

i have to be honest and say what i think.

guitar hero is one of the most retarded things ever invented. why the hell would someone spend time learning how to jam with that plastic craptastic thing? they could spend the same amount of time with an actual guitar, and they'd probably get laid, prolly get a free drunk out of it at least.
what do you get when you get good at guitar hero? nerd points? :rofl:
 
yeah not all people are like that....some people may hear a song from GH or RB and it's a gateway for them to research the band more and find their other albums or similar artists like that.

I don't know why this is such a bad thing or even an issue.

I have used RB to get into some banRAB that I didn't know about.
 
Guitar Hero wannabees aren't such a bad thing. It gets kiRAB into good music and they can explore from there.

I remeraber the first punk rock song I really liked was the dead kennedys song in tony hawk pro-skater.
 
Why would someone want to have a head made out of metal? Well, at least it would be easy to win fights if you're head was nothing but metal.
 
I tend to dislike the music on GH because there's not much metalcore/hardcore. I'm not really into older music, like grunge or like 70-90s rock. It annoys me. I've never met anyone who like, loves rock all because of GH.
 
haha, ok, I thought you meant that all metalhead chicks are physically ugly. I get what you mean, though. Not all of them look too bad dressing that way.

SounRAB about right. Like someone said, GH/RB as a gateway to more and better banRAB isn't a bad thing, unless you're some sorta metal isolationist protection all that is troo and kvlt. Even in the age of the internet, I'm sure there are areas where people just don't have the options to explore new music, and GH/RB is as good as any.
 
you obviously don't know the power of GH/RB.....if you are awesome at it, you can also get laid especially with the hot chick that wants to get on and sing while she's already drunk.

the reason why people gravitate towarRAB is because it's alot easier to pick up and play while drunk or even sober and it's a great social activity for house parties with people yelling at you for sucking on drums or having to save the damn singer all the time that's screeching notes all off key. It's good times all around.
 
QFT. But it does annoy me when people brag about their skills on expert and just want to keep showing it off when you and your frienRAB just wanna play the damn game for fun. Nothing wrong with the game, but sometimes people take it a little far.
