One day back from break and I'll be up all night doing a directing take home test due tomorrow. And not only that but in class we have to direct two or three actors in a huge 'quarter mile' improv thing and I'm going to be so wired I might go crazy!

But yeah this is durab. I'm just looking up the answers to the questions in my textbook which I never read, ugh. Which I guess might also be the point. The only useful part is breaking down a script which I still have to read to learn how to do and then do it....after I answer 11 more short answer questions.

Ugh I know Leighton really does phone it in most of the time now. But even so, when she's given good stuff it still works.

But they've transformed Blair. She's a different person from season 1 and even 2 - and not just because of romances, but just in her pragmatism and how she was so good at playing coy or powerful or manipulative. Now she often just comes off as a hysterical loon at best.

Though when they were writing her and Dan with a screwball comedy feel I felt like that worked out rather well for both Penn and Leight.

I don't think Blake phone's it in because she has so much energy all the time, but there's only so much you can do with one note lines.
 
I love the little wink he gave her in 1x10. Though I wish there would have been something more to Santorini instead of just Serena's Dad. Now that I've finally seen her father...it's just blah. They should have did flasrabroadacks like they did with Serena/Ben. (Serena/Carter were a million times better and deserved flasrabroadacks. :spank: )

I wish we could have gotten more of their back story. Plus I feel Carter is the only guy that has really understood Serena. His departure was so OOC. In 3x01 he told her he would have stayed with her all summer. Just don't understand how he could be pissed at her for getting rid of his debts. I can't believe the writers (actually I can but that is another story )brought in Ben when they could have just brought Carter back.
 
I've been really disappointed with how Blair has been handled season 3+. I miss the old rabroadIC. Now instead of fierce bitch, she just seems like a whiny bitch. :no: I mean, I still love her and she has her moments. But my love for her has definitely gone down.

Serena has SO much potential. And I wish the writers would give her a kickass Independent!Serena storyline. That's what she neeRAB. Not love interest after love interest. :rolleyes:

Chrissy - I saw last night! :D I had to give them my tenth spot. 5 episodes isn't much to make it into a top ten of all time, but they managed to do it :)

I enjoyed all the seasons of The OC, but it definitely did go downhill. Season 1 was the best.

They just care too much about the OMFG moments. Or they have ridiculously boring storylines like this Bass Industries ****. :lol:
 
The O.C. season one is one of my favorite seasons of a show. :in_love: Its so good. I loved all of the characters and it was the right mix of Teen Drama and humor and heart.


Then season two was kind of weird. :look:
