She was great with him because they had history. They were similar free spirits. And I really liked her when no one supported her or trusted him and she took a stand and fought for him.

And they both had to overcome their own issues but they were willing to to be together.

God, just perfection. I miss Carter sfm!

That was weird. I don't understand why Serena acted like that. Is there an explanation in the episode why she's so pissed at Carter?
 
I am having much fun with DB! Too much fun, I think. I love them to pieces. CaS were my only GG OTP for a while and DB came along and they are nuraber one. But CaS are my two, and they are my only two!

Chrissy I love that you ended up shipping them after all of the protesting! :lol:
 
Yeah I don't ship NS but I don't mind them too much either. :) It's just that Serena was so much more likeable about Carter, he seemed to bring out a side of her that her other boyfrienRAB never did.

Yeah, you can really tell that Blake, as well as most of the cast, is pretty much over the show. :lol:

All their scenes were so PRETTY! Like, some of the most beautiful settings and colors.
 
^He really did. Blake did really good with that storyline. Their sexual chemistry was HOT.

I have nothing against NS. Blake/Chace have chemistry and NS were cute together. The writing for them wasn't strong though.

Serena to me is the type of character that is never happy staying in one place for too long or staying with one person too long. I think Carter is exactly like that. They both float through life...I just want them to float together.

An expat in Europe is like my Hemingway/Fitzgerald romantic wet dream :lmao: I would love to run away to Europe (and dress simple yet stylishly :P ) and just experience!

p.s. I directed an actor in a monologue rehearsal today and it was like my first foray into real directing and it. was. amazing! :thud:

This scene made me a shipper :in_love: I shipped RAB from the first season and still wanted them in season 3, but CS won me over :sigh: They were wonderful together.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard what the writers thought of CaS. They obviously love Carter, because they kept bringing him back and gave him a pretty major storyline.

But yeah, not sure what they thought of CaS.
 
:lol: I'd love to, trust me. :sigh: But I'm trying to be a dreamer and a realist all at once. Plus, politics will give me life experience and I can't write a story without that can I? Hemingway had to run with the bulls before he could write about it. :nod:

Or I could just move to europe, live like a dirty pauper and write to my hearts content. That could happen. :look: I might like fashion a bit too much for that though.
 
In hinRABight Carter and CaS got treated so much better than alot of the main GG characters and other guest stars.

It was never overkill with Carter. CaS to an extent were left open. Especially since Serena floats from one guy to the next and feelings are so off and on. How she acted with Carter she's done that with Nate and Dan as well. Loved them one moment and then forgot they existed the next. Since Carter is that guy that always pops back into her life I think he understanRAB that more than anyone.
 
I've been on and off team Dan since season 2. I know it's crazy. But I was a hardcore fan of "bad" Dan. I like when he gets his feet dirty and I love that he really loves scheming and being bad. I love the Dan who is the insider, holding his own and being one of "them." He's been developed that way for the most part since season 2, though he was separated from it while at NYU with Vanessa.

I also have this dream of Blair ruining Dan. He's always just kinda gotten the girl...and if he doesn't he just lives with it. Even with Serena. He's never been ruined by love really and I sooooo want Blair to do it to him :lol:

I've been feeling Blair more lately too. With the Dan SL. But I don't like how her powerful woman arc is only to "get to Chuck in the end" just as I hate that Serena is all about love interests and being in trouble.
