...comand prompt using different port? my problem is when I go to root of the mysql through cmd using "mysqladmin -u root password *******
and try to set the password for first time installed latest 2.1e wamp server, it returns me a error of 'Access denied for user 'root' @ ' localhost' <using password: No>'
CRAP!! WHAT IS IT???
I installed wamp server on my port of 1989 which is I replaced from port 80, humm! I can access wamp from browser using "localhost:1989" but I can't able to set password
I also tried from directly mysql console but it just disappears when I hit Enter(
I tried both enters on keyboard
) well!! tell me about following now:
1. How can I set password for mysql admin?(is there any other way?) or
2. How can I access my localhost port 1989(is that my birth year? oh yes! *_*) as root of admin and use it for setting the password from CMD
3. YES OFCOURSE if you know how to stop disapearing of mysql consol PLEEEEASE tell me..
