Walt Disney DVDs

We're just back from Disneyland and my daughter adored Belle so would love to get a DVD of Beauty and the Beast. No way am I paying Ebay prices and they don't seem to have it for rental either.

Thought about getting the video but I think our vid recorder is close to deaths door!

Do you have a link for this.

Sleeping Beauty was only released last year so it seems a bit early.

I have the rare 2 disc widescreen set and I wont be pleased if its value is going to drop.

Their videotapes were done the same way.

Exactly the same titles had limited releases.

I remember selling a VHS of Lady and The Tramp for

Apparently so, although it is marked as Blu-ray so I don't know if the regular version will be released as well.

These are the upcoming releases apparently:
The Aristocats 2 4 February 2008
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh 2 Early 2008
The Rescuers 2 Early 2008
One Hundred and One Dalmatians 2 3 March 2008
Sleeping Beauty (re-release) 2 November 2008
Pinocchio (re-release) 2 2009

It disgusts me that Disney act in this way. All their films should just be released on DVD and they should stop this limited time release bullshite. It angers me that if I want to get B&TB this Christmas as a present for my niece I will have to buy it off eBay for

You answered your own question.

Profit is the motive.

It means that if buyers want the film then they are aware that as a limited edition it wont be round for too long so unlike normal mainstream Hollywood product that I and thousanRAB of other wait for 4-5 months and get 50% off ,with Disney you pay top whack and they sell faster.

It also means that for collectors the dvd's retain their value .

I just got the new 2 disc Jungle Book from a US Amazon seller brand new for

I put a complaint in via Paypal and they allowed me to contact the seller through them a1dvd assured me that I would get my money plus postage if I sent the dvRAB back - I posted them on 29th November and have had nothing!! Paypal say that their guarantee only covers non delivery of gooRAB - not the quality (even though their complaints procedure allows you to complain about the quality which I think is very misleading)

I had the same problem with Paypal when I received some vintage magazines that turned out to have half the pages missing.

The best you can perhaps do is to get Paypal to remove the PP payment option for the company.

I know ebay sellers who have sold vintage tv shows unreleased on dvd that have had their PP account closed down.

However , I would continue to contact PP because you have returned the items and you have not received a refund.

PP are pretty useless when they want to be but if you can be bothered I feel you might get some joy with a bit of persistence

Note to remember: if you ever have to complain to Paypal about the quality of any items received remember not to- just lie and say they didnt arrive .
As long as the items were not sent recorded or special you'll be ok and it will be the only way of getting a refund from PP
