My house is pretty old, built in 1938. There is one wall in my pantry that has about a dozen layers of wallpaper on it. I've tried every method under the sun to remove this wallpaper and nothing worked. Then, my husband decides...for whatever reason...to paint over it! There are grooves and tears everywhere! Can I just wallpaper over this mess yet again? Will the paper stick? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
