This hasn't had much publicity. Are you planning to see this? Personally I love W & G, have done since A Grand Day Out (actually, I love all Aardman stuff). Chicken Run was good, but I think this will be even better received because it's two loveable characters that most, if not all, people are already familiar with.

Odd that the Aussies get to see it first, followed by the US, then the UK (in about a month). Maybe it's a Dreamworks thing as they're putting up all the money, but it would have been nice for this film to have premiered in the UK.

Yeah I am planning on seeing this when it released in the UK but I also find it very strange that it is released in the UK last. As you expect with a UK made film for it to be released in the UK first then followed by the rest of the world!

I'm really looking forward to this. The clips and trails I've seen so far are promising. I'm actually going to a preview on Sunday so I'll let you know what it's like.

Really good actually. Very enjoyable. I laughed out loud a number of times. Something for everyone. It's going to do really well. There's another review of ithere if you're interested. I pretty much agree with everything in it.

I really, really, really want this to be good.

It's gonna have a hell of a job to get past any potential Hollywood bias come the Oscars (I'm expecting The Corpse Bride, Madascasgar and Robots as the three nominated for Best Animated feature) but it does have Dreamworks as it's backer.

Nick Park has been lucky in the past, and although I think you're right about Corpse Bride and Robots (to a lesser extent), I'm not so sure about Madagascar though (another Dreamworks movie). Mind you, didn't Shark Tale get a noination last year? So I guess there's no accounting for taste ........
